Vorig jaar zijn daar 1552 mensen binnengebracht. Gz-psycholoog Philip Veerman reflecteert in zijn opiniestuk in <strong>Den Haag Centraal<\/strong>\u00a0 op deze voorziening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Bastiaan van der Hoeven, psychiater en manager zorg bij de Opvang Personen met Verward Gedrag (OVP) van Parnassia,geeft een paar gefingeerde voorbeelden gebaseerd op een doorsnee van pati\u00ebnten die bij de OVP worden binnengebracht. Een man, dertiger, vertoont verward gedrag op straat. Hij gaat vrijwillig mee naar de OVP. Hij is onder invloed van alcohol en is radeloos door een recente relatiebreuk. Na ontnuchtering blijkt ergeen sprake van een psychiatrische stoornis of su\u00efcidaliteit.
