“Mag dat dan niet?”\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pro Justitia rapportage over jongeren met psychiatrische problematiek waaronder autisme.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Onder de jeugd die met justitie in\u00a0aanraking komt is het percentage psychiatrische stoornissen zeer hoog. Bij een deel van hen wordt de diagnose, waaronder ADHD en autisme, voor het eerst gesteld\u00a0wanneer er diagnostiek wordt gedaan\u00a0doordat ze met justitie in aanraking zijn gekomen. Bij bepaalde delictcategorieen komen\u00a0sommige stoornissen meer of juist minder vaak voor. Ook komt het voor dat\u00a0een jeugdige\u00a0een\u00a0delict pleegt en\u00a0niet weet dat het een strafbaar feit betreft. De diagnostiek van deze groep jeugdige delinquenten is vaak lastig en loopt\u00a0soms anders dan bij jeugd die niet met justitie in aanraking komt, dat geldt ook voor het behandeltraject.\u00a0Gelukkig neemt de aandacht toe voor deze complexe en boeiende groep waardoor zowel de diagnostiek als het behandelaanbod verbetert.<\/p>\n
